Road To The Bay
The beautiful Robin Hood’s Bay is a place that you never want to leave once you’ve dropped down into it (and that’s not just because of the climb up the hill to leave). With lots of beautiful houses and alleyways Robin Hood’s Bay it is well worth a visit and I called in on my way to Flamborough for fish and chips and a photo. Its especially worth a visit in the summer with all the beautiful flowers out and if you’re lucky you might just even get some nice weather. This was actually my first visit to the bay and despite it not been school holidays and a Thursday there was still plenty of people around enjoying the village meaning I had to be patient for the right moment to capture this iconic view. In the end despite waiting for a gap I ended up preferring this shot with the people climbing up the hill rather than the empty street as it summed up the popularity of the bay and felt much more authentic of what I’d seen.
