Rocky Runswick
Having visited Runswick several times before I’d always gravitated towards the beautiful white old coastguard’s cottage at the bottom of the village. While I’m still waiting for the colourful sunrise shot I’d like of the cottage upon arrival it was obvious there was little change of that happening this morning so instead I chose to wander further along the beach and went for a wider view of the beautiful village to capture more of the bay in my shot to show off the levels of the village with houses built into the cliff at various different heights. I ended up placing myself up on the sea-defence rocks near the slipway to the beach, both to keep out my feet dry from of the high tide and also to use the rocks as foreground interest.
