Shining on the past
An image that can no longer be taken since the steelworks down at South Gare are no more. A symbol of Teesside’s industrial heritage and steelmaking industry that is sadly no longer there. I’m pleased to say I managed to capture the steelworks before they were gone and the rays of light shining through the tiny gap in the cloud cover pointing to the steelworks shone on what is now the past.
