It was called Yellow
A rare free weekend saw us decide to head out for a wander. Despite expecting we were a couple of weeks early we decided to head to Farndale and do the daffodil walk just to have a morning out and eye up some potential compositions to return to in 2/3 weeks time. Having had a good explore at Farndale we decided while we were out to pop for a walk around the shops at Helmsley but that all changed when as we drove along the river-side and spotted that the daffodils there were out. Having parked the car and taken some photos the owner of the nearby gallery came out and had a chat with us and it turned out that the daffodils had only come out the day before and we’d been the first photographers she’d seen come to take photos of them.
