Led to Loneliness

You can’t get a much more tranquil location than this one. A lone tree up on the top of Egton Moor with nothing but wide-open countryside in sight. We spent the night alone with only the midges for company and this beautiful view. We both had a wander round the tree looking for foreground to use and Andrew found this grouping of three stones which made a wonderful leading line towards the tree. All we then had to do was wait and see if the light played ball which it did giving us a little bit of colour behind the tree while the heather added its colour to the foreground.
