Spring Showers Incoming

Without Covid and working from home this image would never have happened. Not just because the covid lockdown is what sparked my interest and later love for photography but that due to having the ability to work from home I was able to nip out with the camera on my dinner hour during the week. This meant that when I saw moody skies I quickly picked my gear up and headed to the priory during its opening hours when normally I would have been restricted to other views or visiting inside the grounds on weekends only. I’d been waiting for a nice moody sky for days to go grab this shot as I always feel dark skies really make spring flowers pop as they add colour to the image. The only negative to this was that I had to go back to work after and couldn’t make the most of the mixed weather that followed.
