Steaming Ahead
The first of my annual photography visits to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to capture the trains as the ascend through beck hole climbing up towards Goathland. This photo was taken in the early evening giving some low angled sun bursting through the trees and onto the side of the train while also illuminating the dark plumes of steam as the engine works hard to battle the gradient and make its way to its destination.
