Sitting Among The Heather
When the beautiful North York Moors turn purple during heather season there really is nothing quite like it. The vibrant purples contrasting against the summer greens of the fields surrounding Roseberry adding colour to the image. In order to simplify this scene I ended up sat down in a gap in the heather in a bid to get lower which allowed me to cut out any distractions in the midground of this photo making it all about the beautiful purple heather and the topping in the distance.
