Spring Views at Cliff Rigg
Up on the ridge of Cliff Rigg quarry looking towards the iconic Roseberry Topping is one of our favourite views. Away from the higher traffic areas of those walking up to the top the woodland seems in its own little world and allows a more quiet serene moment enjoying the sounds of nature and the beautiful view. With been local to Roseberry Topping it is a regular haunt of ours and we have photographed it from all sorts of angles but even still there are more for us to discover. Although this one wasn’t one we discovered it was one that the world renowned local photographer Joe Cornish first took and there’s no doubt as to why he did as it is a stunning viewpoint. With the sun-kissed trees framing the topping while soaking up the pre-sunset sun and the greens of spring having burst through following a winter’s slumber it truly is a sight to see.
