Strip of Light

A last minute decision to pop out for sunset saw me pondering which of my local locations to head to. Not having much time to play with I headed for this roadside spot which was a very short walk from a parking place giving me a little time before losing the light behind the hills. The moody clouds adding interest above Roseberry however something was missing. That something turned out to be a strip of light as the setting sun let out its last rays shining at the base of the topping. Even better a rainbow appeared as the heavens opened in the distance but unfortunately it wasn’t within the frame which was a shame.
