On The Turn

Having regularly passed this field on a weekly basis for years it allowed me to notice all the little changes in the field as the year goes on. In this case the barley had just started to turn from green towards yellow on its way to a becoming golden crop ready to harvest. The recent weather had been mixed considering we had just come into June which left a wet spot in the low point of the tractors tracks which I used to balance the photo against the tree and distant topping on the right hand side.
