05 – December 2025 / Happy New Year
Happy New Year! May 2026 be a happy and successful year for you all. We’re hoping 2026 will be the best year of photography for us yet. With a couple of potential roadtrips in the offing and several other places planned to tick off the photography bucket list we can’t wait to see what it brings.
With 2026 now here I thought we’d look back to what happened in 2025. An uncertain start to year with our sale going through and our house purchase delayed and potential it may even not happen it wasn’t long into 2025 that we no longer had a roof of our own over our heads and were living with my parents. Thankfully things fell into place and after only a few weeks of no longer been on the property ladder we were back on it. With help from family we managed to work through some pretty major works having rewired and redecorated the house throughout before finally moving in before the end of April. We spent the grand total of a week in our own home before heading to the lakes for the first of what would end up been three trips to the lake district in 2025. While we didn’t manage any extended roadtrips in the tent this year we did however also manage to revisit North Wales in Autumn for a week which was lovely and hopefully not too far into this year we should have our Wales section of the gallery live and ready for your viewing.
In 2025 Frame and Focus has certainly kept us busy. Having bought a new, larger gazebo for this year we used it at 10 events while also trading at another 44 events without it, its no wonder we’ve been so tired. Juggling our full-time day jobs, the business and getting out to take more photos certainly isn’t for the faint of heart but getting out and meeting you all doesn’t feel like work! We’ve met some lovely people over the course of the year whether it be new faces or those we’d met before. Who knows what 2026 will bring for us but hopefully it will involve less stress, more photography and all been well we can make 2026 an enjoyable and successful year. The planning has already begun whether it be looking into new products, booking events or planning shoots it never stops.
