Well what can I say about this January? We had made plans to get out and photograph so many places and in reality we’ve picked up our cameras once! The constant rain and miserable weather we’ve had put a stop to that but it never puts a full stop to us working away in the background. We’ve again been emailing around organising our craft fairs / country shows for the coming year and looking forward to returning to some favourites, trying some new locations and getting out meeting some more lovely people whether you’ve seen us before or not. Hopefully we’ll have the start of a list of where we’ll be to come out at some point in the coming months.
That’s not the only thing we’ve been busy organising. For the last few years we’ve always headed away for a couple of weeks of camping and photography with a couple of trips to Scotland and a trip to Wales so far. With a house move and a lot of building work last year that didn’t happen but this year it is. Keep an eye out for another blog post soon all about how we go about planning a trip, finding photo locations and where we’re going this year…..
With all the rain and dark nights we’ve had it has at least given us the time to attack some jobs that have been sat on the backburner including working through some of our editing backlog to give us some new content to share as well as some jobs on our house that mean when the weather finally improves we won’t have anything to stop us picking our camera bags up and heading out to make the most of it.
