The Dancing Lady

This night was a couple of firsts for me. First time visiting this beautiful lighthouse as well as first time for me trying to photograph the northern lights. Having arrived to literally hundreds of cars we feared the worst and thought getting a nice shot would be hard work however thankfully the tide had done us a favour and was in far enough that the general public wearing trainers stayed back from the causeway leaving us in our wellies to walk in front and go get some photographs without the hordes of people in. A night I’ll never forget even though I’ve seen stronger aurora shows than this I’ll always remember witnessing them for the first time fondly.
