Did you know that the North East has the smallest population of all the English regions? Does that make the North East England’s best kept secret? Why would people not want to live there? It may not be home to not as many people but it certainly is home to some beautiful sights whether those sights be natural, industrial or a feat of engineering. The North East is home to bridges such as the iconic Tyne Bridge and Tees Transporter Bridges. I’m stealing a comment used by someone we met at one of our stalls and they said “Where we live is beautiful. It’s certainly not all chimneys and smog as some people like to believe”
