Waiting for Me Dad

An icy cold January night spent photographing the transporter bridge. We could see our own breath during this trip but it was well worth it to photograph this beautiful Mackenzie Thorpe statue called Waiting for Me Dad. The amazing sculpture that Mackenzie created based on his experience of waiting for his dad coming back home using the bridge to cross the Tees after a hard days work. This image required a lot of crouching down with having to have the tripod as low as possible to the ground in order to get this angle with the bridge looming large over the sculpture.
