We Remember

Having taken a day off work to spend some time out with the camera I opted to go for an explore of a couple of locations I’d not photographed before. Having seen photographs previously of lovely poppy displays at the WW1 soldier statue at Seaham. With the day before my visit having been the 80th anniversary of D day thankfully the display had still been left. A challenging photo to get in the middle of the afternoon with plenty of people around thankfully the rain came driving many inside while I sat on the damp grass enjoying the peace as others had left.

Location = Tommy Statue, Seaham

Date Taken = 7th June 2024

Taken By = Andrew
