Beautiful Bamburgh
A beautiful morning on the way back from one of our Scotland trips saw us having spent our last night in our tent and ready for home comforts but not before one last sunrise. Having stayed locally despite been nearer to Holy Island due to the safe crossing times we had to visit Bamburgh Castle down the road instead. Certainly not a bad backup however we headed there weary eyed but the beautiful pre-sunrise colour soon perked us up and rewarded us for getting up early even after 2 weeks away to sign off the trip with a bang. I loved the pre-sunrise pinks in the sky and among the abundance of foreground on the beach opted to use the tidal pools as they reflected the pink hues of pre-sunrise in the sky.
