Bebbanburg
Named after the viking name for Bamburgh this image features a hut down near the beach with the castle lurking in the background. As a photographer, clear blue skies are typically my worst nightmare and the only exception to that is at sunrise or sunset. This sunrise thankfully had some nice side light to hit the long grasses surrounding the hut as the sun rose over the Farne Islands. It was a beautiful morning and worth the early start as due to not living local it’s not every morning you get to see the sun rise over such a lovely beach and castle.
