Moored
Normally before a photography trip I do lot of research looking for areas to explore / photograph. His shot however was from a family holiday rather than a photography trip but of course the camera went with me anyway. I did however remember having seen an old rusty mooring hook which someone had used to frame around Lindisfarne Castle however I opted instead to try use it in the foreground to balance out the image with the castle on the opposite side. What I didn’t realise was that the ring wouldn’t stay upright without a bit of creativity however after a bit of searching I found the right sized rock to prop it up with so the ring was more visible in the shot.
