Stronghold
The beautiful castle of Bamburgh is such a photographers paradise. Everytime I visit I seem to find something new of interest so there’s no wonder that I never tire of visiting anytime we are up in the area. This morning was a cold, windy one and once I’d found this composition using a tidal pool as foreground I set my tripod up and waited for the light. In order to warm up I was doing a circular walk around some of the other seaweed covered pools in order to warm up and thankfully although it was slippy I didn’t end up inadvertently sat waiting for the light instead!
