Arching Loch Awe

One of our favourite places we’ve visited in Scotland so far and that shows as within 2 Scotland road trips (so far) we’ve actually been here 3 times already. It almost seems to be our good luck charm in that every time we have had differing yet still beautiful conditions to add to this beautiful castle ruin and stunning backdrop. Standing between Loch Lomond and Glencoe it’s a perfect pitstop for an hour or two. Having visited twice previously to this I made sure to keep looking for different compositions to those I’d taken before and while wandering around the shoreline I came across this bare tree with its branch jutting out I could use over both the castle and the landscape in the background.
