Did you know that the national animal of Scotland and several of its most famous animals aren’t actually real? Scotland is heavily associated with Haggis and the Loch Ness Monster but the Unicorn is actually the adopted national animal of Scotland. While its national animal may not be real our love for Scotland is and it will always have a special place in our hearts as it was our first photography camping holiday together.
Scotland will always keep on calling us, other photographers and tourists back with good reason. With stunning vistas such as the Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye, the dramatic Glen Coe or amazing sculptures such as the Kelpies or the 7ft tall HB pencil we found near Elgin there is something for everyone.
