Clinging On

I won’t lie this wasn’t the easiest photo to get. A long bump, pot hole-filled B road across Skye from our campsite took longer than planned meaning we weren’t there as early as we’d hoped but there had been next to no light anyway this evening and it therefore ended up with a blue hour shot of this beautiful location which we will no doubt return to and hopefully see with a lovely sunrise / set or some nice light but one thing is for sure I hope its less windy. Yes, its often windy on a cliff edge with you been open to the elements but we were struggling to stay on our feet and certainly weren’t going to get too close to the edge in fear of getting blown off the edge. Having fought the wind and walked along the cliffs going further around I’d managed to find some rocky foreground I liked but more surprisingly we’d also found a couple with a photographer taking their wedding photos there and I’d imagined they had hoped for some lovely pinky sunset light but that certainly wasn’t the order of the day much to both their and our disappointment.
