First Light

I’ll be honest this was a tough morning to get out of bed, over a week into this Scotland trip and having done several long days of both travelling and sunrise / sunsets and some good hikes. Staying in the tent was very appealing however having visited this shipwreck for sunset the night before we both agreed that we’d get up and have a go the next day as we were moving on that day so it would be our last chance. As tired as were that all went away as the sun rose and cast some beautiful soft light across kissing the wreck and parts of Ben Nevis and that’s when excitement took over and it was fill your boots time to capture this beautiful scene. I’d love to capture this scene in the snow but I certainly wouldn’t like to be camping if that was the case!
