Layers of the Quiraing

The most beautiful untouched and rugged landscape with such amazing views but were the views to die for? Well, thankfully I didn’t but I did have a moment that could very easily have ended badly. Walking along towards the needle at the Quairang there were several points where the path narrowed and had a drop to one side and all it takes is a badly placed foot or the wrong footwear and you could be falling down a steep hill. I know because I lost my footing at one point, falling to the floor very close to edge but thankfully a combination of me trying to stop myself and Andrew who was following grabbing the handle of my camera backpack saved me from ending up going further down and thankfully only my pride was hurt in the end.
