Reflecting Beauty

Sometimes things are just meant to be. Having planned to visit the Kelpies the day before this we found roads and car parks closed due to the 10th anniversary celebrations of the kelpies and with it been a ticketed event that quickly saw our plans scuppered (not that we’d have enjoyed exploring them with so many people around, in shots etc.). We ended up instead heading to the Falkirk wheel before returning to the Kelpies the following night instead. I’m so glad we did as while we knew we wouldn’t have the place to ourselves we only saw maybe a handful of people all night despite us spending a couple of hours photographing the beautiful statues in several different compositions and several colours as neither of us could pick a favourite colour to choose! They were all beautiful!
