Choo Choo

Having taken a day off work to capture the railway before it closed for the year me and Andrew headed for the popular station of Goathland. Also known as Hogsmeade from the Harry Potter films it is always a popular spot on the railway so visiting at the end of the season on a weekday was our best bet of capturing the photo we had planned. The plan was to capture the station from the bank opposite looking down but having checked the board we saw that a train was soon due from Grosmont so instead set up a shot that way waiting for the train to come. Unfortunately just as the train was arriving a member of the public arrived and leaned over the fence into my shot so I had to quickly adjust and zoom in to keep him and his camera phone out of my frame. Nevertheless I managed to get this shot of the 9F arriving into Goathland with plenty of steam as it pulled uphill into the station.
