Tornado Warning
While this is a well shot location up on the NYMR it was one I’d yet to visit. Having parked up and found the shot I had in mind obscured by overgrown ferns I had to think on my feet and explore to find a new composition. While I had a good amount of time your brain always goes into overdrive when you know you have a hard deadline to hit. It wasn’t as though they were going to delay the train just because I hadn’t found a shot I wanted yet. In the end I went for higher ground on the hillside which allowed me to capture more of the beautiful landscape that surrounds the railway while the old stone bridge added some interest.
