Ewe and Me
A trip to the lakes in May 2025 say us heading to Elterwater Quarry with our cameras but before we made it there we had a stop off at Elterwater Common to grab some shots of the sheep that were roaming free. Andrew had said one of the shots he wanted to come away with from the Lake District was one of a Herdwick sheep and when we saw several around he pulled over and we got the cameras out. Having split up Andrew headed for the area where some of the Herdwicks were hanging around while I stayed nearer the road as this lamb and its mother were hanging around and I fancied a shot of the pair together as the lamb stayed close to its mother as they grazed on the common.
