As predominantly landscape photographers it is nice to change things up and photograph something different every once in a while. For us a trip to photograph wildlife is a nice way to do this and spend some time capturing animals in the wild can freshen things up. Like any type of photography wildlife photography can be very difficult. There’s always the saying “Never work with children or animals” and photographing them is no different. We have huge respect for professional wildlife photographers as the patience require to photography wildlife is incredible. Whether it be dressing up in full camouflage or sitting in a hide for a full day it requires a huge amount of effort. Another thing that they are fighting against is the cost of zoom and prime lenses is astronomical and while we have the cheaper budget range of zoom lenses we’ve still managed to produce some images we’re proud of (especially of the highland cows and puffins).
