Purple is Definitely My Colour

The purple pops of colour on our Peak District trip created some lovely foreground for the cows of Baslow Edge and this resulted in me spending a lot of time laid on the ground avoiding puddles and poo to try get the low angle needed to take portraits of the beautiful herd of highland cows up on the moor. Changeable conditions allowing patches of light to shine through made for a lovely afternoon of wildlife photography which was topped off with an ice cream before we moved on to the next location.
