Yorkshire Dales

Dark Dales

Having stopped in Hawes to stock up on some cheese to take home at Wensleydale Creamery we headed home from a few days camping over in the Dales. While we didn’t have any set plans for stops / photos on the way back we were taking the scenic route home and inevitably would stop at some point. In the end it was about 500 metres outside of Hawes (Yes, I know we didn’t get far) where we spotted the sheep and lambs running around in this field with the beautiful barn and hills in the background. We ended up stood for a fair while waiting for a mix of light and sheep in the right place for the photo but patience is often rewarded in landscape photography and I managed to get just a single sheep in the frame as the light peeped out onto the neighbouring field.
