King of the Castle
An early morning trip through to the beautiful Brimham Rocks gave me some beautiful gold side light poking through underneath some thick cloud which looked beautiful hitting the many rock formations in the area. This one however especially caught my eye with the small tree standing tall at the top almost surveying across the land and enjoying the beautiful light like I was. Taken in October this meant the ferns had started turning various shades of brown and orange and the golden light just looked spectacular hitting them. While it was a lovely morning there were also pitfalls as I managed to drop a lens cap down a small gap between some rocks which is probably still there as I had no chance of getting it back. They also tend to say nice light comes before and after stormy weather and the rain certainly did come cutting my day shorter than planned but after a nap in my car I headed home happy with what I’d managed to get.
