Scaling
This photo is one from our very first camping trip together. Having planned to go up to Scotland later in the month we had a test run with the tent and camping gear and it’s a good job we did. Having been sold incompatible gas canisters for our cooker by Go Outdoors, struggled to get our airbed to pump out and various other issues it was good to iron those out while visiting some new places including this beautiful waterfall. Often with waterfalls there can be issues whether it be dealing with wet rocks, steep descents or even other visitors this time the issue was a lack of height (me note the waterfall). Having watched Andrew climb up the rock shelf to reach the upper falls I found myself having to ask him to come back down and gracefully give me a boost to get up as I couldn’t quite reach on my own. Once up there however I really enjoyed spending some time with this beautiful waterfall and the cascades as it worked its way downstream framing this shot with the tree roots on the right hand side to balance out against the falling water.
