Shine on Me
A surprising mild October day saw us once again visit one of our favourite campsites over in Settle and we decided to do the circular walk including both Gordale Scar and Janets Foss. A first visit for both for us and its always nice to get out and see beautiful places you’ve never been before. The fact they were beautiful wasn’t surprising but how busy Janets Foss was on a Monday in October really surprised us. Contending with numerous wild swimmers was not what we expected as I can only imagine water temperatures were rather cold in October. Having crossed over the river we managed to get some clean shots without the swimmers of the waterfall with the sun hitting the leaves above before we opted to continue on with our walk.
