Solitude
Having headed out for the day with my friend and fellow photographer Matt we headed over to the Yorkshire Dales. It was a lovely day for photography with the light coming in and out all day creating some lovely contrast with the changeable conditions. Having negotiated the hordes of traffic around Malham caused by a cycling race we ended up on the limestone pavement and with this lone tree and dramatic clouds in the background it was a photo that had to be taken. I don’t know what it is about them but you find very few photographers that don’t like a lone tree and with beautiful limestone like this one this is one of my favourites.
