Yorkshire Dales

The Solo Sheep In Swaledale

This day was one of those days where I’m so glad that I took up landscape photography. Realistically I would never have visited here without photography and we had such a great day. Setting off from our campsite just outside Muker we walked to Keld and back doing a loop around the river and also took a slight detour from the route to explore Keld a little more. This photo was actually taken from within the church’s graveyard looking back across a beautiful landscape with a couple of things the Dales are famous for, cow barns and sheep. As much as I called this one the solo sheep in Swaledale there were of course others in the field but with a bit of patience I managed to isolate this one as the only one in my composition which I preferred to having 4 or 5 in the shot.
